You’ll be staying at the luxurious Lyngen Lodge, right on the eastern shore of the Lyngen Fjord. The lodge can sleep up to 18 people in eight ensuite rooms with triple and single options available. The food has a unique Norwegian Coastal twist to it and the fully stocked bar can be enjoyed throughout your stay. The lodge comes complete with hot tubs, a private chef and stunning views of the surrounding mountains, glaciers and impressive peaks.

The Lyngen Lodge caters for 18 guests in eight ensuite twin and double bedrooms, there are also triple and single options. The lodge is traditionally constructed from Norwegian ‘lafting’ pine, the geothermic heating provides warmth whilst the thick grass roofing provides insulation.
Internally the lodge benefits from large panoramic windows providing guests with breathtaking views over the spectacular Lyngen Alps. The interior furnishings have been chosen to compliment the surrounding natural environment.
Amenities at the lodge include a fully licensed bar, dining room, lounge with large open fireplace, library/seminar room, sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi.
Catering and hosting at the lodge is of the highest standards with local produce being prepared by house chefs resulting in delicious cuisine with a focus on Norwegian coastal culture.

Trekking Tour
Your trek will be as challenging or relaxing as you require; a dramatic Arctic landscape, beautiful midnight sun and the surrounds of the Fjords all provide for an unforgettable trekking experience.
Cultural Walking Tour
Follow the paths of local history in the region, from Sammi reindeer culture to suspension bridges over the 170m gorge. You can also visit the well preserved Second World War lookout remains situated over the Northern Lyngen Fjord.
Sea Safari
The Lyngen Lodge’s own boat the ‘Spirit of Lyngen’ will take you out onto the Fjord to explore where the mountains meet the sea and Havnnes historic fishing port. If lucky you may encounter whales and sea eagles and you can participate in some deep sea fishing for cod or halibut.
Sea Kayaking on the Lyngen Fjord
Sea Kayaking in the flat water of the Fjord just outside the lodge with a surfacing dolphin close by is a unique experience. You can paddle along the coast or just sit and relax under the midnight sun; it is up to you how you wish to spend this time.
Boat trip in the Reisa Valley
This wild and picturesque river meanders through a heavily forested canyon that is home to the Mollisfosen Northern Noway’s highest waterfall at 270 metres.
Boarding the specialised river boat you will embark on a journey up the river deep into the Canyon to walk to the foot of the waterfall and cook lunch over an open fire.
Glacier Explorer
Discover the world of a moving glacier across from the lodge on the Lyngen peninsula. Your guide will instruct you on the use of crampons and ice axe as you discover the caves and ice walls creating a truly memorable day.
Horse Riding
The Lyngshest is a unique breed of horse bred specifically for the regions hardy Arctic conditions. These placid and gentle horses are ideal for families and your day will include stopping for lunch beside a remote forest lake and cooking lunch over an open fire.
