Ideally located next to the Chenus Piste, within 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of the resort, Chalet Maisonnée B is a luxury ski chalet in Courchevel 1850 that has a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere and is run exclusively by Kaluma Travel.

Perfect for families or small groups, the chalet sleeps up to 8 (10) people in five bedrooms; two of the main bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the additional bedrooms share a bathroom and a shower room.

Maisonnée B has a charming sitting room complete with an open fire and hand painted woodwork with traditional designs. The kitchen and dining room are open plan; opening out onto the large terrace overlooking the Alps.

This chalet is located directly beneath Maisonnée A and therefore we can also offer the two chalets together where possible.

The below are per person prices in GBP for Chalet Maisonnee B based on a group size of 10 people. The price includes our half board option of breakfast, afternoon tea and a delicious four course evening dinner (on six nights for weekly bookings and three nights for short breaks) as well as our renowned in resort service.

Flights and transfers are not included.

	Name: Simon Job role: Resort manager, Courchevel What have you been doing this summer? It's been an incredible summer of sport and I have been at the heart of it. I spent many early mornings and more late nights helping one of the TOP Olympic sponsors activate at 'The Greatest Show on Earth'; a truly incredible experience. I was there to see Mo Farrah win his second gold, there when Usain Bolt did the MoBot over the finish line and I was there to help Ali Brownlee out of Chinawhites and into a taxi after celebrating his medal win with 2012 cocktails. It was three years in the making for me and it certainly exceeded expectations. Why did you want to work for Kaluma? Kaluma offer a unique service that very few others in the industry can- a truly tailored holiday. A relatively small company, it's satisfying to know that Kaluma aren't 'selling out' on its core values and are staying true at its promise of looking after their customers needs. For Kaluma it's not just your run of the mill holiday package that you can find on a Google search; they really go the extra mile to make it a fantastic holiday and it will be a great to be part of that delivery. What are you most looking forward to this season? Fresh powder and 'dropping some shapes' on the tables of the new Folie Douche in Meribel! An interesting or funny fact about yourself that our guests might like to know (or not) When I was in third year at University I lost 4 stone in 4 months- all lost in a healthy way (I didn't starve myself). Plenty of exercise and healthy living.
	Name: Dan Job Role: Chef Courchevel What have you been doing this summer? Since the end of last season I have spent the summer months working as a private chef, catering for private parties and intimate dinner parties up to banquets and weddings. All in all a good summer where myself and fellow chef Richard have begun the creation of our very own private dining business. Why did you want to work for Kaluma? I had such a good season last winter with the Kaluma team in the Chalet Maisonnee that the prospect of doing season no.2 with Kaluma was never far from my mind. A great company with a very positive outlook and excellent attention to details. A great cheffing environment! What are you most looking forward to this season? Creating and serving some of my new dishes that I’ve refined over the summer. As well of course as time on the mountain. An interesting or funny fact about yourself that our guests might like to know (or not) I love to run/work in an open kitchen, so I would rather share a story with our guests over a glass of wine and hopefully not shock them too much with my funny facts!
	Name: Richard Job Role: Chalet Chef Courchevel What have you ben doing this summer? Like Dan, I have been working as a private chef and loving the chance to experiment with new recipes and dishes. Spent a serious amount of time looking into our own private catering company. Fine dining all the way. Why did you want to work for Kaluma? Season no.1 was great fun. Hard work, but great fun and I found it very rewarding professionally as well. The chance to come back and reunite with Dan, in the Alps was another opportunity I didn’t want to turn down. Kaluma allows us to express ourselves in the kitchen and I don’t think we have disappointed! What are you most looking forward to this season? More of the same. Good food, good wine and the beauty of those mountains! An interesting or funny fact about yourself that our guests might find funny or interesting (or not) I’ve always had an interest in teaching and love talking about food! So any guests would be welcome to come to my kitchen for a quick cooking lesson, anytime, no problem!
	Name: Julia Job Role: Chalet Host Courchevel Julia, returning for season no.2 What have you been doing all summer? After a lot of traveling the summer before I have continued the trend and spent some time travelling Europe, catching up with my family in Poland and looking forward to the next snowfall….ready for another winter! Why did you want to work for Kaluma? I had so much fun last winter, meeting so many great people, getting into the Courchevel life, skiing and working (I really loved my job)…when Richard asked me for another season, it was a very easy decision! What are you most looking forward to this season? Taking more pictures in the mountains. I love my camera and the scenery in and around the resort is perfect to improve my skills. As well of course as the skiing and getting back to our lovely chalets! An interesting or funny fact about yourself that our guests might like to know (or not) I’m from Poland and I love to dance in the bars and clubs around Courchevel. Does that make me a Pole Dancer?

I found out about Kaluma by word of mouth. It was recommended by my good friend and housemate Julia, as a truly great company to work for. Kaluma’s team not only aims to come up to customers’ expectations but to exceed them. I share the values that make this possible. What are you most looking forward to this season? As it will be my first time to the French Alps, I am looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere that Courchevel is known for. An interesting or funny fact about yourself that our guests might like to know (or not) I was a participant in the Guinness World Record for the largest remote dance class.

I travelled around New England in America, and chilled out with friends and family in the 'not so' English Summer Why did you want to work for Kaluma? Because they are a small yet well known company with a great reputation for excellent service and memorable holidays! What are you most looking forward to this season? For meeting new and interesting people, and hopefully catching the best of the snow. An interesting or funny fact about yourself that our guests might like to know (or not) I'm still obsessed with Mickey Mouse at the age of 19 (not cool??)
