Private Client – Maisonnée A, Courchevel 1850, Apr 2011
"Where do I start!
It was a fab trip, Richard was awesome, Vicky was lovely. We have now been looked after by both Andy and Richard on a number of occasions and they make you feel comfortable and at ease at all times.
Whenever we travel on a ski holiday with Kaluma my wife always says the same which is "why do we go skiing with anyone else" and she is right. You guys never let us down.
Thanks for a really wonderful holiday."

Name: Richard Griffiths Job role: Chalet Chef Courchevel What you did before Kaluma: Having completed a degree in Sport Science and a period working for Europe's leading sports memorabilia and historical documents auctioneers (where they sold everything from Winston Churchill's war time microphone to a 1940's Olympic torch) I set out to see the world. Trips have included 1½ years living in Australia and cycling the length of Europe. Since returning from travelling I have honed my cooking skills, spending time at a variety of places including Raymond Blancs Le Manoir and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstalls River Cottage HQ. Interesting fact: I run my own supper club in Brighton. What you want to gain out of the season This will be my first season and I'm looking forward to the clean air, learning to snowboard and hopefully putting smiles on guests' faces with my cooking. |
