The Mondschein is a Chalet Style Hotel and is situated right in the centre of Stuben. The hotel has long been an established meeting place within Stuben and is the oldest hotel in the village. The foundation walls dating back to 1739 bear witness to the longstanding tradition of this cosy, traditional Austrian Hotel. With the old “stuberl” still in tact, it is a popular meeting place for lunches and apres ski snacks. The hotel proudly boasts that all food is freshly prepared and mostly home grown on the premises, even the bread and jams served at breakfast. The food is fantastic, The Ski Hotel Mondschein’s Gault Milau restaurant is proudly listed in the Michelin 'Best Restaurants 2007' and the hotels elegant, yet informal bar is a very popular meeting place in the village.

With a traditional wine cellar that showcases the finest Austrian wines from both famous producers as well as undiscovered young vintners throughout the country. The Hotel is a member of 1st Club der Sommellerie Austria and the sommelier gladly offers a tasting session during your stay, to sample some new and exciting wines from Austria’s best wine regions.

Lots of wood and steeped in tradition, low ceilings and with all bedrooms en-suite and offering pleasant views of the mountains, they are all individually decorated to a different style. With a swimming pool with massage jets and a sauna and massage area, this charming hotel really does offer a welcoming and relaxing environment, perfect after a hard day on the slopes.

All amenities are just a stroll away from the front door. The Albona lift (2 minutes on foot) connects you to the heart of the Arlbreg ski region and after an exhilarating day on the slopes you can almost ski right back to the doorstep, right through the pedestrianised main street!

Guideline prices are based on 4 people travelling and taking mid-range rooms, on half board basis.
The prices also include scheduled flights with BA or Swiss and private return transfers.
